Hello

My name is Ricardo Prates, and I am a licensed tattoo artist with over 6 years of professional experience. I am based in Framingham, Massachusetts, where I own and work at Blessed Tattoo Shop, serving the greater Boston area. I specialize in Black & Gray realism, portraits, fine line floral and I also create full color tattoos.
 

My artistic journey began at a young age when I discovered my passion for drawing. As I grew older, I attended art school in Brazil, where I further developed my skills. I was first introduced to the world of tattooing as a client, but it wasn’t until the pandemic brought major changes and new opportunities that I decided to pursue tattooing professionally. That moment made it clear to me that this is what I want to do for the rest of my life.

Fun fact: I’ve always been passionate about basketball and played for many years when
I was younger. I’m also an animal lover, especially when it comes to my French
Bulldogs, Zion and Dominique (in loving memory).
